How do I know whether e-mails from XING are really from XING?

To avoid any fraud attempts in the form of fake e-mails (a practice known as "phishing"), we send the most of our e-mails with specific personal details in the footer. We've added a sentence that includes your name, current position and company, as stated on your profile.

For example: "This message was sent to John Doe, Project Manager at Acme Inc."

E-mails regarding invoices or payment reminders will always have the same invoice number that you can find in the invoices & settings area.

If you receive an e-mail from "XING" that looks like fraud and doesn't contain this text, feel free to report it using our contact form. We'll then look into this for you.
