XING is transitioning from an online business network to a jobs network. One of the many changes we’re introducing has to do with your profile page.
XING now allows you to set your job preferences to show recruiters what kind of job you’re looking for. These preferences often overlapped with entries in Wants, which is why we’ve decided to discontinue the Wants field from 28/11/2023. The new section job preferences lets recruiters know your preferred job title and industry, along with the hours you want to work and whether you’re interested in office, hybrid or remote vacancies.
Not looking for a job right now, but interested in exchanging with friends, peers and acquaintances, or looking for new sales and project leads? Try using the About me field in your profile or add that information as a status in your business card.
