Hide profile sections

You can hide specific sections for profile visitors on your XING profile. This includes:

  • Hiring highlights
  • Skills
  • Timeline (professional experience + education)
  • Languages
  • Qualifications and achievements
  • About me
  • Interests & Hobbies
  • Personal details (birthday, birth name)

This it how it works: Go to your XING profile and scroll down to the bottom. Click the Go to visibility settings button. Now you can hide or show the desired sections.

Please note: Hiding a specific section does not prevent your profile from being found by the keywords it contains - or your contacts from being informed about your birthday.
