Why doesn’t a link in an e-mail from XING open in the XING app?

If you want your iPhone / iPad to automatically open a link to XING (e.g. from an e-mail) in the XING app, please do the following:

1. Press and hold the link.

2. Select "Open in XING app" in the window that appears.
